LIPOSOMAL IRON PYROPHOSPHATE:
Liposomal iron pyrophosphate is a form of iron enclosed in phospholipid liposomes
that help protect the mineral from oxidation and reduce its contact with the stomach
environment. By remaining protected during transit through the stomach, it reduces
the release of free iron ions, avoids the typical metallic taste and minimizes irritation
of the gastric mucosa. This delivery system supports ecient uptake at the intestinal
le v el, maintaining high bioavailability even in the presence of dietary components that
commonly interfere with iron absorption. Clinical evidence shows absorption
comparable to or higher than conventional iron salts, with good gastrointestinal
tolerability. Iron contributes to normal red blood cell and hemoglobin formation,
normal oxygen transport, normal energy-yielding metabolism and reduction of
tiredness and fatigue when provided in sucient amounts according to local
requirements, and this form is suitable for continued use within
recommended dosages.

It helps to improve the iron absorption by keeping it in the ferrous state (Fe2+).
